Nansha Bird Park is envisioned as an ecological escape, a landscape where design merges seamlessly with natural habitats. The park unfolds as a journey through mangrove forests, reed fields, lotus ponds, and plank trails that culminate in bird-watching and research facilities that celebrate the park’s all-season beauty.

Quiet and hidden, where humans observe, and birds feel safe.
Installation placed at Nansha Bird Park
Its shelters follow the principle of “quiet and hidden,” ensuring observation without intrusion. Openings are carefully placed to create varied perspectives: expansive horizons for birds in flight, and intimate oval gaps for close encounters at eye level. Long-term observation platforms provide rest and 360° views, while bamboo shades shaped like peacock wings attract perching birds and cast shifting shadows throughout the day.
