Light and Still is a compact residential project in Indonesia, inspired by the Japandi style that combines minimalist form with warmth and intimacy.  
At its core lies a small central courtyard, designed as a communal space and giving each room a private connection to nature. Sheer fabrics diffuse natural light and fill the interiors with softness. To maximize the space, open layouts were created to fulfill the space needs and create a visual connection.

 At the heart of the house lies a courtyard, connecting every room to nature.












The material palette in this project uses warm timber, light-painted walls, and concrete flooring to create a neutral foundation. The lighting throughout the space creates an ambience to feel calm and comfortable.
